Our Staff - Wildwinds

Wildwinds is pleased to announce a new management team for the 2010 season.

Our new C.P.G.A Head Golf Professional is Dennis Snyder who is joining Wildwinds after a lengthy career in the golf industry having worked at some of the areas top golf courses which include Westmount Golf & Country Club, Cutten Club, and most recently was a key member of the management team at Turtle Creek Golf Club. Dennis' knowledge of the game of golf along with his customer service skills and Professional Golf status is a great addition to the golf club. Dennis will be a familiar face to many people!

Working under Dennis' supervision is Nathan Zanelli-Brooks an established teaching professional who comes to Wildwinds after spending many years teaching the game of golf at local driving ranges. He also worked the retail side of the industry at Golf Town. Nathan has helped to create a proshop that offers something for every caliber of golfer. His technical mentality of the game of golf will be a valuable asset to Wildwinds. Nathan will also be organizing the junior clinics at the golf course which begin later in June.

Our new Golf Course Superintendent is Trever Turner who brings a new level of enthusiasm and knowledge of the "links". Having grown up in Northern Ontario, his experience on some of the area’s premier golf clubs such as Parry Sound Golf & Country Club and Seguin Valley Golf Club will be valuable assets to the future of Wildwinds. Trever is well versed in the maintenance of high quality courses. Most recently he was the course Superintendent at Brookfield Golf Club in Cambridge, Ontario.

Wildwinds would like to welcome back Lori McIlmoyl as our Food & Beverage Manager. For numerous golf seasons Lori has been the unseen hero behind all the events at the golf course. Whether it is continuously growing Ladies' and Men's Leagues, Member Events or Tournaments, the functions have been a success thanks to Lori.

Our new General Manager is Scott MacKay who comes to Wildwinds with a young life-time of experience in the golf business. Scott has spent the last four years at Springfield Golf and Country Club in Guelph. Hailing from a golf family in Muskoka, Ontario, Scott’s family owns and operates Muskoka Highlands Golf Links where his passion for the game and knowledge of the business began at a young age.

This new team will bring high energy and new ideas to the golf course. This is an exciting period for Wildwinds and we welcome everyone out for the 2010 Golf Season. See you on the Links!
